Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Good Friday Tenebrae Service | 7:30 PM at CCP:

A time to remember and reflect on the suffering and death of Christ. Childcare provided: Grow Zone (ages 4 to 5th grade) & Nursery (up to age 3)

The word, “Tenebrae” is Latin for ‘darkness’ or ‘shadows’, and the way a Tenebrae service works, is that throughout the service, we reflect on the shadows of darkness that overcame Christ in his final hours.

While normally, we invite everyone for a time of food and fellowship, Tenebrae services end on a reflective note. Families are encouraged to leave quietly and somberly, to let us each feel the weight of the moment.
