DISCIPLESHIP INSTRUCTION FOR GROWTH

RTD_0366.JPG

This fall, one of the new, exciting programs we are launching are D.I.G. Classes, which stands for “Discipleship Instruction for Growth”.

Regardless of how long you’ve been a Christian, or how much you’ve studied, we are confident that you can learn to be a better disciple by attending these classes.

Each DIG class will last for 10 weeks. This means that if you want to try it out, you aren’t making a lifetime commitment (although we do hope you’ll return). By having all classes the same length, it lets you switch from one teacher to another depending on which subject most interests you. Drop ins are welcomed!

CLASSES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Starting September 3rd:

APOLOGETICS: WHAT TO SAY WHEN YOU’RE STUMPED

Taught by: Mark Anderson

Talking to others about our faith can be a scary proposition. What if they ask us a difficult question? What if we don’t have a good response? In this class, Mark will be surveying different ways to defend your faith, so that no matter what situation arises, you won’t be left speechless. This is a “must have” class for anyone who takes sharing their faith seriously.

A PERFECT MATCH: IDENTIFYING AND USING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS

Taught by: Pastor Jason

“Have you ever felt like you were serving because the church needed a warm body? You weren’t using your gifts and you weren’t particularly productive? This Spiritual Gifts class teaches a better way. We all have gifts, abilities, and passions. If we let these guide our service, we can each have fruitful and fulfilling ministry experience. This will be a practical class, designed to help you get more out of your service, both inside and outside the church.
