Building On Faith.

"Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare."
— Psalm 40:5

21 years ago, our congregation moved into the building our church calls “home.”

In that 21 years, in this building God led us to in the Hollywood Park/North Park neighborhood, we’ve built trust and relationships. God has provided for us to be able to serve the community, host Bible studies and events, and help people grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to Be Disciples and Make Disciples, as we love God, love people, serve faithfully, and share Jesus.

God keeps leading, so we need to have faith and keep following. We want to be prepared for all that He calls us to do – to keep growing His kingdom and having an impact on our neighborhood.

As we look forward to our next 21 years of ministry, we have identified building repairs that must be made, and improvements that should be made. And so we’re launching a two-year capital campaign – Building On Faith. Our goal, prayerfully, is $200,000 toward renovations that our trustees have planned as God provides funding.

Please pray with us, earnestly and in faith, that God will provide, as we are challenged to stretch our faith and look toward the future. God has seen CCP through 77 years of opportunities, as a congregation. Only He knows His plans. But what we do know is that He has great things planned for us as we continue to Be Disciples and Make Disciples by Loving God, Loving People, Serving Faithfully, and Sharing Jesus.

In the coming weeks, materials will be available with more information. Please join us for a Town Hall Meeting on November 3 following the service.
