Pastor Jason came to CCP in 2016 after having served churches in Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Connecticut. He received his BA from Moody Bible Institute and his MDiv from Westminster Theology Seminary. He and his wife Charity are proud foster parents of 3 beautiful children. kristi yokoyama
Office Administrator
Kristi has been part of the Communications Team since 2017 and began transitioning into the administration role in 2020. She met her husband Tori, growing up attending summer church camp in Lake Geneva. Together they serve on the worship team and have two boys who keep them on their toes. Kristi loves to travel, take pictures and is always looking for good eats - especially donuts & ice cream! BRYANT NISHIKAWA
Interim Worship Director
Bryant grew up in southern California and began attending CCP in October of 2022 after getting married to his wife Kelly. Having previously served as a youth advisor and worship leader at his home church, Palos Verdes Baptist Church, he stepped into this new role fall of 2023. Besides playing worship, Bryant enjoys anything that gets people to gather around a table. Smoked meat and board games are his current favorites. Any questions about worship, you can contact us here!
JOSHUA TATSUI
Student Ministry Director
Joshua grew up in Skokie and has been part of the CCP community for most of his childhood. Since the winter of 2023, he has been serving in this role and joyfully works with the teens! Alongside other leaders, he runs the Friday night youth group where youth can worship, find community, and grow in their faith. Apart from serving, Joshua enjoys playing basketball, the board game Catan, and managing a vintage toy shop. Any questions about our youth, you can contact us here!
TORI DODD
Children’s Ministry Director
Tori joined CCP as Children's Ministry Director in November 2023 after moving to Illinois from Texas. It's her first move ever, and she loves making friends, so come see her at church! She has a calico cat named Catherine who plays fetch, a goofy horse in Texas named Quincy, and the cutest little cousins in the world. If she's not planning and scheduling for Grow Zone or playing with the kids, she's reading, drawing, and listening to Taylor Swift (Swifties unite!). Loren & Donna Friesen
Heartland Eigo - Japanese Ministry
Loren grew up in Japan where his parents were missionaries. Donna went there as a short-term missionary from CCP. Long story short, they met at the same church in Japan and got married. Back in Chicago, they’ve been coordinating Heartland Eigo since 2002, working with faithful coworkers from CCP to serve Japanese business families in the Chicago area by coaching them in English, introducing them to Jesus in the Bible, and providing child care during their weekly program.
